Sisters Hifz Class

Hifz Programme3

To memorise the Quran takes effort and sincere commitment however the rewards are immense.

Dar Al Quran is pleased to start a Hifz Programme for Sisters. The goal of this program is to produce Hafizas, those who can memorise the entire Qur’an off by heart.

This course is run by Shaykha Sawsan who holds several Ijaza’s in Qir’aat and is from Damascus, Syria. She will guide the students step by step, recognising each student learns at their own pace, to reach their aims. This course will take 3-4 years depending on the level of dedication and effort each individual puts in.

This is a very rigorous programme, which requires hours of intense daily devotion to memorisation. There is an entrance exam, which the student must pass in order to be accepted onto the programme.

This programme will help you to develop a relationship with the Quran by having a daily wird (a portion of Quran to be recited daily).

Once you have completed the Hifz the student will work towards acquiring an Ijaza.

Here is the detail of the course:

Time: 10am – 12pm every Thursday or 11:30am – 1:30pm every Saturday
Place: Willesden, NW2 4PU
