Here are testimonials from some Dar Al Quran’s students:

During my late teens I drew closer to the deen by Allah’s grace, then soon began reading and listening to recitations of the Holy Quran more. I felt it increased my faith in the religion. After searching for a suitable place to learn, I came across Dar Al Quran.

The small, friendly classes were the perfect environment for me to settle in comfortably and begin learning to read. My tutor is always encouraging and supportive and perfectly suited to guide me in my classes, perfecting my reading of the Quran in accordance with the rules of Tajweed. I have almost completed the beginners steps to reading and will soon begin to read the Quran, inshaAllah.

When I started my quest to improve my recitation, I had difficulty finding course providers who could offer me the support and encouragement I needed.

Dar Al Quran recharged my motivation to learn to recite the word of Allah and after a short period of dedicated study, I feel I am able to do so with little struggle Alhamdulillah.

Dar Al Quran have helped me make huge improvements in my Qu’ranic recitation in a short span of time. By tailoring their teaching to my particular strengths and weaknesses, they were able to take me from sounding out individual letters to (quasi) fluent reading, with full Tajweed in little over 3 months.

This ability to get results, interleaved with the delivery of broader traditional teachings, makes Dar Al Quran the go-to place for contemporary Islamic education.

I’ve been having online Tajweed lessons for around three months now and after each weekly lesson I feel I have improved my reading skills profoundly. Though my tutor is in Egypt, we interact with each other very easily as if it we are face-to-face. The Dar has excellent online facilities to learn. My teacher has an Ijaza to teach the Holy Quran, speaks fluent English and is always punctual and highly professional. I truly feel blessed and thank Allah every day for giving me this opportunity to learn how to read the Blessed Book of Allah.

As a recent convert to Islam, I became interested in the sound of the Holy Quran through listening to various recitations online. Unsure of where to learn, I further searched the internet and came across the Dar Al Quran website, which was a great blessing for me. I’ve attended the sisters’ class for about six months now, and have completed stage one of the Tajweed programme, now moving on to read from the Holy Quran.

The teaching has been both systematic and inspiring and has taught me so much, not only improving my Quran recitation with application of Tajweed rules, but also about our Muslim faith and practices. In addition to learning how to read the Holy Quran I have also learned how to pray my five daily prayers. My fellow sisters in the class were very warm and welcoming from the start and I now feel part of a community.

The online classes from Dar Al Quran have been exceptional. Our teacher is not only knowledgeable but also kind and gentle, just as the Prophet (peace be upon him) was. It is a pleasure and a delight to know that once a week, we will be taught Islamic teachings by someone who embodies what Allah has commanded.

Our nine year old daughter (Alyssa) has been learning the Quran from Dar Al Quran. My husband, my three sisters, myself and my brother also recently joined, forming a Malaysian family learning group.

Our tutor visits our home once a week for the adults of the family, and twice a week for young Alyssa, visiting more frequently during holidays. His teaching skills are very constructive, proficient and effectively suitable for everyone, regardless of ability.

All of us have improved tremendously in our Quran readings especially our Tajweed, most impressively our Alyssa who can recite most of Juz Amma off by heart, Alhamdulillah. Together with our studies of the Quran we have benefited from the Islamic knowledge of our tutor including learning about the life of the Prophet (saw), bringing us closer to our Lord.

I started to learn Tajweed with Dar Al Quran (UK) with absolutely no Arabic knowledge. Masha’Allah, I went from knowing no Arabic to being about to recite small verses with Tajweed in just 3 months. I hope with dedication I may recite the Quran fluently in Arabic by Ramadan next year. Please make a humble dua for me so that I may be successful in my endeavors. Apart from Quran lessons, my circle of Muslim friends have also grown since I started learning Tajweed. There are a lot of spiritual benefits with these classes. I pray that Allah (s.w.t) will allow me to be steadfast in my studies and allow me to continue striving for His sake, ameen.

As I searched for a Quran teacher for my 5 year old child, I wished to find an individual who would easily adapt to the changing needs of my child and was a learned, humble Muslim with a refined character. Al-Humdulillah, Dar Al Quran (UK) has fulfilled my requirements completely and Mika’il is now taught by a very well-educated Hafiz who works well with children. He has learnt the Qaida with correct Tajweed and is also continuously benefitting from the wonderful characteristics and knowledge of his tutor through storytelling and Hadith citations.

As a mother, I wanted my child to develop the love for Islam from an early age so that his religion can truly become a way of life for him. Mash’Allah with the help of the institute, Mika’il’s love for his deen is growing. Being inspired by my son’s progress, I have also taken a positive step towards learning the Quran with Tajweed. I now attend its family class where all my learning needs are met. No matter what your stage your recitation or how advanced your Islamic knowledge may be, I firmly believe Dar Al Quran (UK) can enhance your learning further.

As a couple, we have been learning the Quran since October 2011. We feel that Dar Al Quran (UK) has helped us immensely. Prior to the lessons we felt that our knowledge of Islam was limited. However since starting the lessons, our Islamic knowledge has greatly improved and felt these have benefited us as a couple for our future and in the hereafter. Dar Al Quran (UK) has not only help us to grow as people but has also guided us to become well informed and responsible Muslims. The lessons have been setup to make it as easy as possible for us as an individual. The lessons are broken down into different parts where we can learn Tajweed as well as the etiquettes of Islam and how to better ourselves as practicing Muslims. Our lessons are conducted by a knowledgeable Hafiz who has very good communication skills making it easy for us to learn. Also, Dar Al Quran (UK) runs a lot of optional social activities giving us an opportunity to meet and socialise with other Muslims. We hope to continue these classes and that Allah (SWT) accepts our efforts. Ameen.

I always found that my Qur’an reading was not up to the standard it should be. Thankfully through Dar Al Quran (UK), I am now correcting my Tajweed and improving my reading. I am now understanding and practicing Islam better and would like to develop my knowledge through the weekly classes that I attend.

I would highly recommend Dar Al Quran (UK) to anyone who wants to learn the Quran.

We joined the Tajweed classes in July 2012 with Dar Al Quran (UK) in order to improve our pronunciation and fluency in Quranic reading. Alhamdulillah, we attend these classes on a weekly basis and are taught by a knowledgeable, generous and approachable teacher who puts all the students at ease and comfort despite students having very limited knowledge of Islam. We can truly say that these lessons are the highlight of our week. Not only does the teacher teach us Tajweed, but also tells us about Islamic history, Islamic etiquettes and has introduced us to a Muslim circle of friends. It has been an amazing experience meeting sisters of different backgrounds, e.g. from Hungry, Somalia, Pakistan, Malaysia etc, and various walks of life and realizing how many devout Muslims there are in our very own local communities.

We feel that with the help of teacher and by the grace of Allah (swt) we have learnt more about Islam in the last few months than we knew previously and highly recommend Dar Al Quran (UK) to anyone looking to gain Islamic knowledge and spiritual benefits.
